Inappropriate?This indicates that you have a synth already on the site with the same name as th one you're trying to upload here. The UI should have given you a message to that affect.
Have you already created a synth with the same name?

Inappropriate?It's possible. I tried to resynth a collection. It stuck by the publishing stage. My second attempt was successful.
