I cannot view Photosynth at home and did all that I was told to do
I have Windows XP with SP 3, IE7 and Firefox 3 along with Silverlight and cannot view my Photosynth at home but at the newspaper I work at the I.T. guy can view and he has the same IE as I do. I'd like to post more synths but if I cannot view them, I might scrap the idea

Inappropriate?Sorry this is happening to you. Let's try to work this out.
Firstly, the Silverlight viewer is the one most likely to work on the widest range of machines. What happens when you go to http://photosynth.com/silverlight? -
Inappropriate?I am able to move the panels around but the image is first quite blurry and it takes some time for it to get it correct. I noticed in the system requirements about RAM memory saying 256 is "lite"and 1gig is better. I have 512 so it should run fairly well. Any other requirements that I migh have missed (other than the video card)???

Inappropriate? Here is the error message I get when trying to look at my creation: "We wish Photosynth would work for you, but obviously it's not working. If your computer meets the system requirements, you may find a solution on our help page".

Inappropriate? That's the same problem I am having, but there is no help whatsoever on the Help page.

Inappropriate? It's also kind of funny that since I did the first topic, only once did someone from Microsoft give a reply. I just wonder if they got a little overwhelmed with questions and are putting all their collective heads together to resolve it all. And for now, I took everything out of my computer (the required software and all) until this gets taken care of.

Inappropriate? When you get that message "We wish Photosynth would work for you...." it is generally caused by your driver or graphcis card claiming that it has the capabilities that Photosynth needs, but then not delivering. Updating your graphics drivers sometimes helps, but not always unfortunately.
Our new Silverlight-based viewer should not suffer from this problem. It's experimental now, but will be fully integrated into our site within a few months. To use it now, you take the URL of the synth you'd like to see, then go to http://photosynth.net/silverlight and plug your URL into the form field at the bottom of that page.
Not too convenient, I know!
