Is there a way to use this for proprietary images? (satelite photos)
Hi there, I work for a non-profit organization which has acquired a large quantity of IKONOS satellite images for environmental monitoring. The Seadragon/photosynth technology seems perfect as a way to combine multiple images and view them in real time. Obviously I cannot upload these large proprietary images on to the net, so I am hoping there is a product which allows this technology to be used on a personal computer.

Inappropriate?The first question is: do you need Photosynth (which uses Seadragon for loading images, but ultimately is about laying them out in 3D), or do you need just Seadragon?
If Photosynth, someone from there will have to answer, but if Seadragon, Deep Zoom Composer is the way to go to get everything you need offline. =)
