Photosynth for Windows Mobile?
Would it be possible to port Photosynth for use on Windows Mobile Devices? I'd like to go out with my iPAQ and check to see exactly where I need to take more pictures. I would need to be able to take my synths with me, to see them without being connected to Internet.

Inappropriate?Microsoft ever heard of the operating system called Windows Mobile? Too funny. Can you say "dogfooding"? This makes it just that much more difficult to convince others that wm6 is a platform to build on when the creator of the OS does not even support it. Are we to follow Microsoft's lead and program for the iPhone or any other platform instead wm6?

Inappropriate?@TheMonkeyz: How much of the synth were you imagining would be downloaded (Essentially, what resolution do you want them to cache on your device? Could you really fit a synth that's 500MB or 3GB on your WinMo device? I ask because I do not own one, nor have I shopped for one.
@stealthtech: Windows Mobile 7? Maybe it's cause to hope. http://www.istartedsomething.com/2009... -
Inappropriate?On my iPaq hx2495b, I have an 8gb CompactFlash, and a 2gb SD Card, so yes it would fit. But the read speed is slow. WiFi tops at 150-200kb/sec while writing, so it may go faster by streaming everything. It may also be better to pre-render everything, quite like Opera Mini, or Deepfish =O.
