Photosynth wont synth multiple sets of panoramic photos?
I normally create quicktime panoramas, so use a wide angle lens on an SLR, and use a panoramic head to rotate around the lens nodal point. I used this setup today to take several sets of photos around a site, thinking they'd synth great, yet overall i got 5%. Even if i just use one set of panoramic photos i only get 19%, and it fails to link anymore than 2 photos.

Inappropriate?Kingbob, what sort of overlap do you usually collect for Quicktime VR panoramas?
The first thing that I thought of is this video which has a few of the guys at Live Labs speaking to what you're referencing. (14:00 - 17:50 is the most pertinent to you, especially from the 16:23 mark through the end of that selection.)
