Publishing Synths just "hanging" not sure why
Vista, Firefox and Photosynth (2.0.1403.6) - I created 4 photosynths this morning (not my first time) and all of them have been in the "Publishing synth" stage for a few hours now.
I don't know why things are hanging, but there was a maintenance window last night. Maybe there was some error.
For any employee - the titles are Nissan Maxima, Golfer 1, Golfer 2, and Golfer 3.

Inappropriate?The issues we used to see with "Stuck in Publishing" should have been fixed with our 2nd update, about 10 days ago, so your experience is puzzling. I just did a quick test to make sure there wasn't anything systematic wrong as a result of last night's patch, and synthing is working fine for me.
If you can give us the collection ID of one of these collections, we can look into it from our end. You get the collection ID from the top of your log file (located in %temp%\Photosynther). It's a line that looks like this:

Inappropriate?Hi Dave, thanks for all the investigation and data, let's see if we can figure out what's going on here.
For the first error (0xA0000006) - you're getting that because you used the same name as a synth you've previously uploaded.
For the second error (0xA0000004) - this error indicates that there's a disconnect between what your client thinks it sent and what the service actually received.
Best thing to do in the 0xA0000004 case is to try again, although I'd be curious to see the collection id for that case so I can take a peak at things on our end. Also, regarding the hang that you reported initially, the collection id would be nice if you have it still, if not I can poke around and try and get more info on our side. -

Inappropriate?Hi Dave, I took a look at this and see that some of these did go through and are viewable on the site (f53f6da6-2d46-4798-9c73-3604749d8052, c4306c0b-5db8-413e-b36c-09698c954352, beabed6b-de52-4cbb-b1e4-28a50da24afa) the others don't have enough data left in the database to determine their states.

I've made quite a few synths, but my last 4-5 attempts have failed, stalling at near-complete with the upload. Here is my latest crash:

Note also the spelling "avialable" in the last line. -
Inappropriate?Installing the newest version of Photosynth (no auto update) seemed to help. Though more testing is required to ensure this is the case.
