Standalone firefox plugin
Hi,
Is it possible to download ONLY the firefox plugin? At my workplace I cannot install any programs, but we have firefox and I can install FF3 plugins. I dont want to create/upload anything from my workplace, just want to browse the synths. :)
So a standalone firefox plugin would be great!
Thanks
Gergo

Inappropriate?Hiya Everyone.
Well! I've finally figured it out!
1) Firstly, goto PhotoSynth website and download the installer and run it on your PC
2) Go to C:\Program Files\PhotoSynth and COPY the npPhotosynthMozilla.dll file to a memory stick or zip & email the file to yourself/work address.
To Install on a PC, go to step 3.
To install on a Portable Version of FireFox on a memory stick, go to step 6.
3) Then, go to C:\Program Files\Mozilla FireFox\plugins on the PC you want to view Synths on and paste the file into that directory.
4) Close down FireFox and re-open.
5) To check it has been installed correctly, in the address bar type about:plugins. You should see the file installed.
ENJOY

To install on a Portable Version of FireFox, do steps 1 & 2 then continue.
For argument sake, your memory stick is drive U (for USB) and FF is in directory FireFoxPortable.
Change the drive letter and directory to match your installation.
6) Go to U:\FireFoxPortabls\App\firefox\plugins
7) Paste the npPhotosynthMozilla.dll file into the directory in step 6.
8) Close down FireFox and re-open from your memory stick.
9) In the address bar, type about:plugins and the file should be showing in there. (usually near the top, if not, the list is in alphabetical order so scroll down until you find it).
I’m happy it works
