Synth that doesn't exist, DOES exist??
Hi.
My Photosynth (v2.0.1403.6) stuck on creating (AFAIR on "publishing") my first synth and when closed it and tried to start once again, it says "You've already built a synth with this name". Alright then, I can add the same photos with different name of synth, but I don't want to, because when I look at my synths, there isn't any synth created yet! So only name was saved on the database? Even searching for the name of my lost synth didn't show it. How can I delete synth that does not exist?

Inappropriate?I had the same problem:
During the 3rd attempt to create the Synth, Photosynth mentioned that I already had a Synth with the same title. This although more than half a day did pass since the second try, it wasn't visible in MySynths and I had used 0.0 GB of my quota.

Inappropriate?The synth exists internally to our database but is corrupted and therefor isn't shown on the site. You may actually find that if you resynth the same group of photos the original synth gets fixed and then both show up. That can happen because we reuse photos based on a hash - if we were missing one before and that's why the synth was stuck, sending another copy along can unstick the first one. Does that make sense?
First we're working to understand why some percentage of synths are getting stuck in publishing. We also know that the duplicate name issue is confusing and we're considering removing that restriction altogether.1 Comment

Yes, agree all. And the getting stuck in publishing issue... I have 2 "publishing" for hours, only 1 shows up on the site and 2nd doesn't -
Inappropriate?If you don't remove the duplicate name issue could you at least put a list of the "broken" synths on the website so that we can manually delete them or something?
