Why install on MAC then not able to use?
why do I get a "successful install" then not be able to use photosynth on my MAC? REALLY frustrating .

Inappropriate?You must be running Windows on your MAC if the install happened at all. Right? What message did you get when it later failed?
Even though our Direct3D client failed, we also have a Silverlight client. Go to http://photosynth.com/Silverlight and you can see some great synths, or go to http://cnn.com/themoment or msnbc.com to see great Inauguration synths2 Comments

Oh - I didn't know Silverlight was different from Direct3D. I thought the 3D function was built into Silverlight. So I can view and create synths? How is this better than flickr or Snapfish? Just trying to understand the value without the 3D affect. Thanks -
I downloaded the Silverlight application from the CNN website...on to a MAC and although it says it installed successfully...I am not able to view 'The Moment'...each time I go back to the CNN site it tries to dowlad the application again. Help I am a non-techie Mac user.

Inappropriate?Narendra - what browser/version are you using?
If you clear the cache in the browser and restart the browser does it fix the issue?
