"FindMe" on Loki crashes Firefox everytime I run it
Everytime I use the FindMe feature of Loki FireFox completely crashes, closing all windows and tabs and requiring a full restart.
This has been happening for about 2 weeks, prior to this it work perfectly.
I'm using Firefox 3.0.6 on Mac OS X 10.5.6 with Loki 2.2.1.
I also have Geode 1.5 and Google Gears 0.5.4.2 installed.
I'm currently completely unable to use Loki on my computer.

Inappropriate?Russell, sorry to hear that. Are you using the toolbar or the plugin?
Without being able to debug, I would recommend uninstalling it and re-installing it. There might be some bad config data that is making it crash. -
Inappropriate? If I click "findMe" on the loki.com website it crashes my browser, if I initiate "findMe" from the toolbar sometimes it crashes, sometimes it goes to the website but cannot find me.
What should I re-install, just the Loki add-on?
-
Inappropriate? If you are just using it to locate yourself and you aren't tying it into MyLoki, I would just download the new plugin.
If you are using it to publish your location back to MyLoki then you can download the toolbar off of Mozilla's Addons site. -
Inappropriate?Okay, I've removed the add-on, gone back to Mozilla and installed the version I found there...

Firefox now reports that I have verison 2.2.2 installed...

Unfortunately this doesn't appear to have made any difference :-(
I’m sad

Inappropriate?Yes, it's the same for me. I am using Firefox 3.0.10 and loki plug-in 2.2.2. I had Geode installed and then and installed it. It seemed ok for a while but is crashing again now, so obviously not that. Any update to the Loki plug-in available?
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate? You currently have the Loki toolbar installed. Moving forward we are only supporting the new plugin that works in place of the toolbar. You can uninstall the toolbar and install the plugin by going to http://loki.com/findme
If you are still having problems, email me at support at loki dot com and we'll debug to figure out what is going on.
