We have posted a new version that is compatible with Firefox 3, available now. You can download it from Mozilla's Addons site by going to:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fire...
They currently have it "sandboxed" so unfortunately you will have to create an account there to download it, but it is available.
You will notice a number of changes from the current Toolbar if you are using XP. We are moving to a much lighter model in terms of functionality built into the toolbar itself. In fact, you won't see a toolbar anymore, its not just a button in the navigation pane of the browser. Click it will take you to the Find Me page on Loki where you can do your local search.
- The toolbar has been removed in favor of a single button. We think vertical real estate is important to every user and we didnt need all that space :)
- The button has a drop down menu for options and MyLoki integration
- Enable myloki to take advantage of Facebook, Twitter, FireEagle and RSS integration - http://my.loki.com
- We will be building the Find Me page out soon to add a richer local search experience

As always, we are interested to hear your feedback -- both good and bad -- as we try to make a better product. Thanks for the patience

Inappropriate?Attention Ryan Sarver, Official Loki Rep.
Firefox 3.0 has been finalized and launched, when will Loki come up with the solution?
I’m I’m intolerant of the delay!!!
-
Inappropriate? The beta and release candidates have been out for ages - would have expected loki to be updated by now.. 10 million people have downloaded Firefox 3 already! http://www.dbtechno.com/internet/2008...
I’m frustrated because 10 million of us can't use loki
-
Inappropriate? We are still working on it and it is definitely taking longer than we had hoped. Sorry to keep all of you guys waiting, but will try to get it done as soon as we can. Thanks for the support
-
Inappropriate?sorry does not cut it.
getterdone! -
Inappropriate? If you are interested in beta testing Loki for FF3, email us at support at loki com and I'll send you a pre-release for testing.
-
Inappropriate? Are there any up-dates on your progress that you would like to share with us?
-
Inappropriate?I have to agree that "sorry" does not cut it. You have a great product, but what good is it if it doesn't work with the current browsers?
I would be interested in beta testing as soon as you have a Mac version ready.
I’m annoyed by the delay and by the poor responses from Ryan.

Inappropriate?I have written twice to support at loki.com stating i was willing to beta test with no reply. so do not hold your breath.....

Inappropriate?Ok this is getting pathetic .... no correct me ... is pathetic. 5 month and you still did not figure it out . You can ́t support SAFARI .... but you say you support OSX ... ehmm yeah right but only if you use old Firefox ... duhhh so all the PPC users should be happy then ...
Now from a business standpoint and view I would say : You are driving your product against the wall . Not a real surprise that the iPhone loc does not work properly ... Give the hackers access to your stuff they will solve the problem in 2 days ... they even crack you the iPhone before Apple releases the software .
"Sorry" is not making the cut anymore . What a lame answer after 5 month +.
I’m fat up with it

Inappropriate?OK. I tried the new version, but it says it's not compatible with the PPC version of Firefox 3. Why no PPC version? Still using my PowerBook G4.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?I tried the plugin for FF3, it seems to work correctly but... on my desktop pc, where I don't have a wireless adapter, I expect that it falls back to IP-based, location, while it only says
"We cannot detect your wireless adapater. Check to make sure its on and then reload the page."
Any chance to have this feature back? Thanks!
