Blackberry Support Issue/Network Error Messages
I have a blackberry curve 8310 with TMobile., every other internet based app is working fine, both on WiFi and EDGE networks. When signing into LOOPT, it gives a network error message. Also when the file id downloaded and installed to my phone an error box comes up saying my phone is not supported when it's on the download list as well as your website.

Inappropriate?I too have this problem. Every time I try to sign on it gives me this error and it says my phone and network is supported
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Hi,
I think this is because the 8310 wasn't officially offered by T-Mobile. My guess is that you're using unlocked 8310's, and our phone detection code isn't recognizing your phone/carrier combination. If you can please confirm that you're using unlocked devices, and I'll provide that info to our BB team to see if they can fix the phone detection mechanism.
Thanks,

Inappropriate?Sorry, it's an 8320 not 8310. Got it from TMobile. Not unlocked.

Loopt doesn't yet support the 8320, so that explains the error message. Sorry! Our list of supported devices is available here: http://www.loopt.com/phones

Rickey,
If you go to the Options icon on your BlackBerry, then About this BlackBerry (maybe under Advanced Options) it will tell you what model number you have. If it's an 8320, you won't be able to use Loopt because the 8320 doesn't have GPS capabilities.
