Cannot change "Location Privacy" settings.
I am unable to save changes to "Location Privacy". "Who can find me" will not change from "nobody" to "some friends". I check the "some friends" radio button and then "save changes", however after the screen refreshes it displays "nobody" again. I've tried making the changes from the web site as well as from the iPhone 3G. I've also tried making the change from my home page on the web site. I change the "Who can find me" from "nobody" to "some friends" but when the page refreshes it changes back to "nobody". I have confirmed with friends that they cannot see me in their friends map. How can I change the Location Privacy setting so my friends can find me?

See if these steps help:
1) From your computer, go to https://www.wireless.att.com/olam/log...
2) Login to your AT&T account
3) Click My Profile in the upper middle/right of the screen
4) Click on the Location Privacy Settings tab
5) Click Manage Your Loopt Settings
6) Choose Unblock for Loopt and then Save Changes
7) You should then be able to go into Loopt on your phone and enable Location Updating from the Settings menu.

Thank you Chris for the reply and suggestion, however it did not resolve the problem.
I had previously verified the AT&T account setting for Loopt was "unblocked". I checked again and it is, in fact, set to unblocked.
I have also tried logging out of Loopt on the iPhone and then making the "Location Privacy" changes on the Loopt web site. Again, without success.
I attempted the procedure described in my original post with the same results.
Note: When I logged into the Loopt web site, I saw a message flash on the screen which read that I was "already logged in" and then the screen refreshed and took me to my Loopt home page. I verified that I was NOT logged in to Loopt on the phone.
I tried changing my Loopt account password and logging in with the new password.
I am still unable to change the "Location Privacy" settings.
Any other suggestions?

Did you ever use this Loopt account on any other phone aside from your iPhone, or perhaps use Loopt on an iPhone attached to T-Mobile at some point?

Yes. This Loopt account was used on another iPhone which was replaced under warranty. It's always been used on an AT&T account.
