Does Loopt stay active on the Iphone once you activate it? I wouldn't know, because it blows monkey chunks via Facebook.
Does Loopt stay "active" when it's on my Iphone in the background? Mostly, I want to know if I turn it on, does it update my location as I toddle around the universe...

Inappropriate?The iPhone only updates your location when you have the Loopt program running. Because Apple said so. -
Inappropriate?Well, that sucks. They need to make it so it stays on, and the map isn't empty on Facebook. Otherwise, why bother?

Inappropriate?Background location updating is currently not available on the iPhone, as jammen noted. However, for other supported phones on Sprint and Verizon, it is available. Background location updating is something we are hoping the iPhone will find amiable in future versions.

Inappropriate?what's the point of even having an iPhone version then. It's such a waste that the best mobile platform for this app simply does not allow it to work the way it should.
