GPS works with other apps, but not loopt?
On the iphone 3G - loopt consistently gets my location wrong by a few miles. I read your FAQ about using cell towers if the battery is low or no line of sight, but I don't think that's it because other apps (such as the maps app that comes with the phone) are very accurate at the same time. I'm seeing this on my phone and my wifes.

We're going to investigate here using some of our iPhone 3Gs. In the meantime, can you try going to the iPhone Home screen, walk outside in a clear area, and then tap on Loopt to run the application? Once you are in the application, give it about 30 seconds to try and pull a location. If it still doesn't get it right, go to the Friend List (second icon at the bottom from the left) and after that loads, go back the the Map. If it still doesn't get your location correctly, please let me know by sending an email to support@loopt.com. Thanks for your patience!

Inappropriate?it is still more inconsistent than other apps that use the GPS fwiw. -
Inappropriate?Looptz never seems to update my location. My friend also has this problem. We thought it would be fun tracking our movements but Loopt on the iphone 3G always shows our locations as being at home! Disapointing.
