How do I change the way my location updates?

There are two options for location updating. You can set your location automatically or manually. Automatic updates use the GPS in your phone to frequently locate your phone. Manual updates require that you set your location to an address, place or the last location you were at.

Automatic (Using the mobile application):

1. Select Settings from Home.


2. Select Location Updates and press "OK".


3. Select Automatic and press "OK".

To force an automatic location update to happen:

• Go to Privacy Settings on the home screen and select Refresh Location. OR you can just press "9" on the home screen.

Manual (Using the mobile application):

1. Select Settings from Home.


2. Select Location Updates and press "OK"


3. Select Manual and press "OK"


4. Choose one of the three options: choose to set your location using your last location, an address, or a saved place.


5. Check to see that this was done correctly. The icon at the top of the screen should be a grey satellite dish with a red X above it.

• Note: For your privacy, automatic updates can only be turned on from the phone.

Manual (Using the website):

1. Go to the Set Location page under the Settings tab.


2. Set your location by: selecting a place, entering an address or double-clicking directly on the map.
