Inappropriate? From any Loopt screen, check the satellite icons in the top left corner (on your Home screen it's in the top right). If you see this icon , you're in manual mode. Otherwise, automatic updates are on.
Here's an icon guide:
- Green satellite: Automatic location updating is ON, and we recently updated your location.
- Orange satellite: Automatic location updating is ON, but your location is not very accurate. This happens when GPS can't get a good signal and your location jumps to the nearest cell tower.
- Gray satellite with clock: Automatic location updating is ON, and searching for your location.
- Red X over satellite: Automatic location updating is OFF. Last location was set manually.

Inappropriate?I don't understand. Nowhere in my Loopt app I can find a satellite icon, not to mention one that is colored strange.

Inappropriate?Hi. Sorry for the confusion. This icon guide was meant for non-iPhone users. Sorry that wasn't specified in the post.
