@unclenate I've tried to use Loopt, but I can't figure out how to add any friends, which makes it kind of stupid. :-)

Inappropriate?Hey there,
If you're using the iPhone, navigate to the Friends List (2nd tab on the bottom of the Loopt app). On the top right corner, you'll see a '+' sign. Click on that and it'll take you to your contact list so you can invite them.

you will know when your friends accept your friendship request when you see them in your friend list or map. Also, you will see pending friendship confirmations in the friends' list (second tab from the left).
