I want to track my kids boost phones
Loopt looks very interesting. I was thinking it would be great to turn loopt on on my kids boost phones. The thought being that I could then pop on the web and see a map of where they are at. Sounds too good to be true, does that mean when I map them it will cost me one text message per locate to see where they are ? or does the phone constantly send out updates ? my plan costs me 10 cents per text message.
Has anyone done this on boost ? any idea what the messages will cost me ?
Thanks in advance

Inappropriate? Thanks for your question. Loopt is designed to prevent the type of use you described and has privacy features built in to prevent unwanted use. The user with the phone is always in control of whether or not they are sharing location and with whom. Your children or any other Loopt friends can stop sharing their location with you at any time. Loopt also has features meant to make sure the person with the phone knows Loopt is installed and running.
Loopt uses data rather than text messaging to update location on Boost.

Inappropriate? You may try Telenav 3.7, they give you a GPS location of whereever the phone is without notifying the phone. However, all phones must be signed up and registered with the company. The cost is about a $1.50 per month
