Journal entries are scrambled on the iPhone.
OK, stupid me tried to link loopt and facebook.
Bad idea.
My loopt journal is now scrambled on the iPhone. New entries appear in the right location, but the previous entries are from December 11th. If I scroll to the bottom, today's entries start to appear just before Dec. 2nd, and the earlier entries from this month only appear if I hit "Load 25 more entries".
I've tried logging out/in on the iPhone, and even deleting/reinstalling the application. Also, deleting new loopt journal entries will cause ALL of my journal entries to disappear on the loopt website journal viewer, until I add a new journal entry.

This issues has been resolved. If you remove the Loopt: Where It Is Facebook application from your Facebook account and then re-add it and re-link to Loopt, your Journal entries will be placed back into the correct order.
Thanks,
Chris

Inappropriate?Looking at this, it looks just as if the journal list was stored as a circular list, and the insert/view position was suddenly moved back a month or so. All of the journal entries appear to be there -- it's just that the "latest" viewpoint got moved to a month or so back, and all new entries are being inserted there.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Hi,
We're aware of the issue you described. What appears to happen is that after linking to Facebook, journal entries get incorrectly reordered. Your data and entries are safe, but they'll just be out of order until we're able to fix the issue. They're working on that as I type this. Thanks for reporting this!

Inappropriate? It's better, but it's still not right: facebook and the loopt web journal appear to be correct, but the loopt iPhone application still shows the journal in the wrong order. The first page of the journal appears to be right, but it gets messed up after hitting "Load 25 more entries ...". This time, the subsequent page shows the last entry from the first page, then it starts to repeat the contents of the first page, and then starts to list older entries. In my case, the first page starts with 1/11/09 (7PM) and ends with 1/3/09 (8:30PM). Going to the next page, I get the 1/3/09 (8:30PM), immediately followed by some of the entries from the first page 1/11/09 7PM, to 1/7/09 (7PM), then to 12/10/08 (9:40PM), ending with 12/6/08 (4:30PM). However, hitting "Load 25 more entries ..." again, shows 12/6/08 (4:30PM) -- this is OK -- but then it eventually shows my older (out-of-order/not previously shown) entries starting at 1/7/09.
I've rebooted my iPhone, and the problem persists. Do I also need to delete and reinstall the loopt iPhone application, too? -
Inappropriate?(oh, and thanks, BTW)

Inappropriate? The entries are out of order on the iPhone due to journal caching (another issue we're working to improve). If you delete and reinstall Loopt on your iPhone, they'll appear correctly. When you first open Loopt after re-installation, be sure to choose the option that says you already have a Loopt account and want to login.
