locations dont show in journal
How come the journal profile entries dont indicate the "location" name you entered when you updated? Photos show, time shows, no location name?
Also, i would recommend adding a fully public profile. I have used plazes for years and i actually like to remember locations, addresses, etc along with their associated notes. it helps remember where you go on global travel. WOuld also be cool if you laced the data up to Yelp!
Please let me know if i can add additional detail.

Inappropriate?hey brian, thanks for the feedback! we're thinking about public content all the time =]
just to get the ball rolling, i would ask what phone you're using. also, do you know what version of loopt you're running?
thanks!

Inappropriate?the number in this case is: 7753388686 and i am using the most current build from iTunes. When you look at my Loopt journal after login, i can see what ive written about the locations but not the name if the actual venues.
The last rev you guys did now allows the photos to show...thats cool.
I think you guys could tackle the public content thing by adding some more varriables to the profile. for instance, add a tab to the profile that gives you the ability to set privacy. You sorta have it, but only applies to authenticated Loopt users...that isnt as valuable.
To me, in the application before you update your location you check a box (make private/friendsonly/public) and if private, only you see it, if friends only then only friends see it, and if public, then it hits your public timeline. YOu could also build a blog widget to allow us to include the public feed to Facebook or any blog/website.
Just thoughts. For now, lets see if you can get the original locations to show up in the journal...the rest is taking what i like about the ill fated Plazes and adding it to the easier to use Loopt.
