no verification still

I've been waiting all day for the sms verification to come. I have an iPhone 3g with att, not a new customer. And I've checked that I don't have a restriction on my sms by sending the message to my phone number via email that was suggested. I've also sent the text message start to 29201 to no avail. Is there anything else I can do. Oh, I also uninstalled loopt and reinstalled it...still no luck...Any help would be greatly appreciated.
