pearl 8100 error JPEG Encoded Image encode not found

I have a Blackberry Pearl on AT&T. I downloaded Loopt, and when I try and start the application I get "Error starting LOOPT: Symbol JPEG Encoded Image encode not found"

I deleted the app and reinstalled and got the same error.

I’m frustrated
