Thanks for reporting this. We're aware of the compatibility issues with the recently launched HTC Hero and are working to resolve them. The latest version of Loopt will work on the G1 and MyTouch on T-Mobile, but not on the HTC Hero on Sprint. We hope to have an updated version of Loopt posted soon, so thanks for your patience!

Inappropriate?Loopt is now available for the HTC Hero in Market. It should have most of the force close issues resolved.
