Stop all the closing and reopening.
Is Loopt ever going to make is so that you can add people WITHOUT closing the app on an iPhone? Can't you make it where it notifies people in the application?

A friend request is notified in two ways.
1) In-app: A friend request sign will appear on the Friends tab. On the Friends page, you will see a friend request from the person who wants to be your friend. Clicking on that row will take you to a page where you can take action on the friendship.
2) User-opted SMS: If you opt to receive SMS alerts from Loopt (in the Settings tab), you will get a friend alert notification via SMS.

Inappropriate?I understand how it works, what I'm asking is if loopt will ever make it so that when I go to add a friend...say someone that I don't know, will it ever NOT open the email application on the iPhone but simply just notify that new person in the app itself?
See the problem I have is that I find someone that I want to add. Ok well once I click on that person, loopt closes and then the email application opens. So now once I have send an email to that person, I now have to re-open loopt.
Make since?

Inappropriate?Yes. The feature you're referring to is Loopt Mix. Mix allows you to send messages via email, which opens up your email client. We currently don't have in-app messaging solutions, but are considering it.
