Tiny URL in Twitter connect doesn't go to the right place
Hi, just tried loopt for the first time, along with Twitter connect. Unfortunately the tiny URL that seems to have been generated leads not to my loopt status but to a godaddy page asking me to register loopt.us. Obviously this doesn't seem right.
Any help would be appreciated! I looked for any similar problems in the forum archives but could not find any. Thanks!

Inappropriate?Hi,
I've tried some of the URLs this afternoon, and they all seem to be pointing to the right place. If you post a new status/tweet, is the URL in the new update still failing to load the right page?
Thanks,

Inappropriate?Hey Chris,
Links seem to be working now. A quick search of the twitterverse seemed to indicate other people definitely had my problem though (I'm not imagining it!).
I appreciate you getting back to me! Very psyched to use loopt now.
Take care,
Ryan

Inappropriate?What you experienced was real.
GoDaddy is very mercenary. When a credit card payment for an auto-renewal failed, rather than notify us and give us time to fix things, they immediately put up their landing page.
I'm still not sure why the payment failed, since I used another card on the same account to successfully complete the payment later.
Things are fixed now, and I've already started looking for a replacement registrar. Unfortunately, since GoDaddy replaced our name servers for a time, it may take a few hours for the correction to propagate.
I’m annoyed with GoDaddy
