When Will Loopt Be Available for Blackberry 9630 Tour (Sprint)
Just purchased and using a new Blackberry 9630 Tour for Sprint. When will Loopt be available for this phone? I had it on my old Motorola RAZR 2 V9M and kinda hated having to give up the application for a new phone :(

Inappropriate?It has been a month now with no response from Loopt. Are you still hoping to support the Tour? Or have you determined that the broken GPS chip thact causes Google Maps such a problem is going to make it so you also cannot work? I am not sure why this can't work given that a free software called GPS Logger works just fine. I went for a bike ride last night and it tracked my movements very well using my Tour. I saw it perfectly in Google Earth once I downloaded the saved positions to my computer about every 30 seconds which I would think would be often enough for Loopt.
Please give us some kind of update. I really miss Loopt since I had it on my 8330.

Inappropriate?I'm also waiting for this update, I just switched to Sprint from another company and enjoyed Loopt a lot. Hopefully they can get something together soon?

Inappropriate?So, now I wrote a clone of portions of loopt in the time I have waited for loopt to be ported. It grabs my GPS location and sends it to my home computer to be logged. Granted, not the hard graphic parts, but still you would think a simple port would take less then 6 months.

Inappropriate?Sort of at least for me on Sprint. I only ever get it to use cell tower not GPS.

Inappropriate?I am on Sprint too... For me on FB the zoom of the map is not really good, but on the phone and on the loopt maps it is really good and my location is really accurate... I don't really know if it is using GPS signal or cell towers...but for me the important thing is that it the location is really good... :-P
