Why wasn't text messages implemented in Mix (only email) ?
Why in Mix can we only send emails to others instead of text messages? Why does Loopt choose to not implement this feature? Great app in all other ways but this is an obvious shortcoming.

We initially choose email since we can anonymize people's email addresses so that personal info isn't revealed when exchanging Mix messages. A lot of people also get charged for or have limited text messaging, so email allows you to receive more messages for free. Also, we're working on other ways to deliver mix messages that don't use email or text message and that are much more efficient.
