Will I get SMS Advertising or Calls??
I am concerned about giving my phone number to Loopt. My concern is that my number will be used for phone call or SMS advertisements. I read the privacy and use statements but it mentions "unless if you have opted-in to be part of a specific program or feature in accordance with the applicable Loopt Services consent procedures."
How do I know if that consent is in the signing up for the service but hard for me to find through the legal information?

Inappropriate?Great question. Registered Loopt subscribers do not receive advertiser phone calls or advertisements via SMS without providing an additional opt-in. Loopt’s legal consents, privacy notice, and terms of use do not already contain opt-in consents for advertiser phone call or SMS advertisements. Accordingly, Loopt would be required to solicit additional specific opt-in consents for any such advertisements.
