Firefox Extension Question
For the extra credit assignment, do we need to create a Firefox extension that can process and return the result back to the extension window or we can just pass the search query and redirect users to a website which will process and display the result of the search?

Inappropriate? The firefox extension should show results from an implicit query in the sidebar itself.

Inappropriate? To be more accurate, FF extension monitors user browsing and whenever a new page is browsed it extracts some keywords from it and sends them to a web server through Ajax. Then the results that are returned by the web server are shown in the side bar.

Inappropriate? Is the 15 seconds rule also applies to Firefox extension? I tried to choose less words from one page (currently around 275), but only the pages have less contents can make it to 15 seconds.
I’m undecided

Inappropriate?Let's say the firefox extension can take 30 seconds to account for the network traffic and parsing on the browser side.
You probably want to reduce the automatic query to under 50 words though.
However, you still need to demonstrate to us a fast query on the underlying system.
