Inappropriate?openlab is a collection of machines running something like linux.
They are load balanced so that when you log into them you are assigned a machine that isn't heavily used.
You need to produce a jar file in order to run your program generally not just because openlab is involved.
We are going to test your jar file in the openlab environment and we want you to make sure it works in the openlab environment first.
The openlab environment has enough resources so that you can do future assignments that require heavy resources. That is why we are making this a requirement for this assignment.
