Inappropriate?I'm sorry to hear you are having this problem.
When I try this myself it seems to work as normal. This could be because I am using 1.0 on 10.6 and it's related to some bug I have inadvertently fixed between this and the 0.9 releases. Or it could be related to something local to you. I raise this as a possibility because yours is only the second such case I've heard of and in the previous case setting the author info fixed the problem.
Are you familiar with the 'Console' application in Mac OS X? If you look for it with finder you will find it under /Applications/Utilties on your Mac system disk.
Can you run that. Toward the top of the window you will find a filter entry field with "String Matching" in it. Type in 'elysium' and then try to save in Elsyium again. Please post back what, if anything, is logged to the console.
I am afraid that between work and other commitments I am quite pushed at the moment and don't have a lot of time to work on Elysium. But I will try and help get you up and running if I can.

Thank you for your quick replies, and actually it was the console that put me on the right track. Although quite unfamiliar with it, the message "..attempt to insert nil value (key: email) " lead me to check the prefs again, thus finding out that the e-mail was gone...! This is a remarkable app, and a great fresh way to make music. Just what I was looking for. I am excited to see where this will go in the future, but for now I wish you all the best! Btw, considering you give it away for free, the support is MARVELLOUS!!! :-) -
Inappropriate?Ok, NOW it seems to be working... it took a while to make my email adress "stick" in the prefs... apparently my name stayed, but the e-mail vanished.... However, after a few restarts and checking so that the e-mail adress remains it's possible to save!

I'm glad you were able to fix it. There are, alas, still quite a few bugs in Elysium and I never seem to have the time to track them all down.
