Impossible to save
Hi, I work now with Elysium and I have problems to save my work-compositions.
I work on a Intel 2.8 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo Mac with OS 10.5.6
Do you know the trick?
Thanks,
Philippe

Inappropriate?I think I know the bug you are experiencing. Try going into the preferences and setting an author name & email. These values are written into the file but are not transmitted anywhere.
This bug is actually fixed in a later version available from Macdeveloper.net. If you want to get that, go here:
http://macdeveloper.net/projects/view/94
and sign up for a free tester account. You will then be able to download the latest release which has a considerable number of fixes compared to the release you have.
Alternatively I will be releasing 1.0 in a week or two.

Matt

THanks Matt. This problem is solved. But now I cannot more use the LFO's.
It's sad because it is very useful to introduce temporal changes in the music.
Salutations,

Inappropriate? Can you describe the problem in a little more detail?
The Macdeveloper.net version I mentioned in my previous message has a number of LFO related fixes. You might want to try that out.

Hi,
the version I use is the 0.9.8.2.
With the previous version I used, the 0.9.7 the problem I mention did 'nt exist.
The problem : when I try to use the LFO's, I change the parameters of the choosen LFO and then I save them, and when I return on the control panel, it is not possible to choose the LFO option. Nothing happens when I click on this option.

Inappropriate?Hi Philippe.
I haven't quite been able to duplicate your problem. In my case I was able to re-open the LFO panel, however the panel wasn't working (although the app didn't crash).
I'm heading out to dinner so I won't be able to look at it this evening. If you want to add a ticket describing the problem on Macdeveloper.net that's cool, otherwise I will do it tomorrow or Sunday.
Hopefully I'll be able to get this fixed for the next release.
Thanks for the report.
How are you finding Elysium otherwise?

Hi Matt, this program is prodigious ! But I do'nt really understand all for the moment.
Thanks for your attention,
Philippe. -
Inappropriate?I'm glad you're enjoying it.
The documentation lags far the application both in terms of the features of the application (e.g. the new MIDI triggering) as well as in it's overall quality. To access the documentation choose "Elysium" from the "Help" menu.
I plan to rewrite, edit, and expand the documentation as well as do some demo videos to coincide with the 1.0 release.

Inappropriate?Philippe,
Can you look in the console and see if there are any errors displayed there.
If you're not familiar with it you run the Console application (/Applications/Utilities/Console.app) then in the filter search field (where you'll see a magnifying glass and 'String Matching') enter 'Elysium'.
Can you paste anything you find?
The problem I have identified may not be the same as the problem you are having with the LFO button (I am struggling to see a connection). Any log messages you are getting would be helpful in identifying a common nature to the problem.
Thanks.
