3-5 Days "Best" shipping... really?
MagCloud quotes 3-5 days delivery from placement of order for the "best" shipping option. When I submitted an inquiry regarding clarification of the 3-5 days, I was told that, indeed, the 3-5 days includes both the production time and the delivery.
However, there's no way to track the progress of an order on MagCloud. You just place the order and then hope that there haven't been any issues or delays because you won't know anything about your order until you actually receive it.
I've been assured that for the "best" shipping option, a delivery service tracking number gets uploaded to your order history page once the shipment has gone out... but, that doesn't address progress updates for the production side of things.
An order I placed on August 17th (4 days ago at the time of this writing) is due to arrive tomorrow according to the 3-5 day "best" delivery promise. However, there's no indication in my order history that the job has processed through production and been handed-off to a shipping carrier. So, I'm doubtful that the 3-5 day promise will be kept.
My question: Am I misunderstanding the 3-5 days delivery promise?

Inappropriate?You are definitely not misunderstanding anything, and this is our delivery promise. Unfortunately this week the system used by FedEx to notify us of tracking #s was down for a few days, which is why your order wasn't updated with an associated tracking #. I apologize for this, nothing worse than waiting for something, and not having any information to indicate when to expect it. Rest assured we jumped on this and worked with FedEx to resolve the problem as quickly as we could. If you can send me your order # I will find out when your order was shipped, retrieve the tracking #, and email it to you. To answer your other question, a status of Completed means your order has been printed and shipped, at which point the tracking# will appear in your Order History so you can track it to your doorstep.
