How does the "publisher request" work?

I commented about this on my blog; it is a common question. To add a bit more: we aren't rejecting anyone, we are simply limiting the first publisher signups since we have some kinks to work out. No reason to subject thousands of users to a bug or limitation if it only takes a much smaller number to uncover it.

That said, if you (or someone else) has submitted an unanswered request for an invite and is very eager to publish, feel free to submit another one with the same email address, and add a comment that you are asking again. By definition, anyone interested enough to follow up like you are is a good candidate for an invitation :-).
