Magazine size options
I want to publish a magazine that is 5.5 x 8.5 (a regular piece of paper folded in half). We can do that, right?

Inappropriate? We currently only support 1 size (8.25" x 10.75" trimmed), but we are always on the lookout for ideas for the future, and we appreciate your feedback.

Inappropriate? My feedback is: Is it really an impossibility to use the same size paper, but do a folding? I don't know the process that MagCloud uses, but it would seem that this would be the easiest of possible introduced formats.
The folded, smaller zine is a really good size-fit for our publication. Our last printed issue that we did our selves was this size. It would be wonderful to make this possible. We also wouldn't have more than 100 or so made, probably.
I’m considerably undistressed

Inappropriate?Hi Nayt - it's not an impossibility, but it's not as simple as just folding the paper in half. There would be work involved in getting the front end (our website) updated to accept a new PDF format (along with all the proper instructions for our publishers on how to design for that new format), and on the back end, our PSP would have to modify their workflow to allow for 2 different products, including the changes in imposition, trimming, folding and stapling.
That said, we are evaluating the demand for different features (page sizes, paper types, binding options, etc), and will do our best to provide the best products and options to all our customers. -
Inappropriate?Great. Thanks for the reply.
I can understand the complexities of making my request a reality.
I’m consoled

Inappropriate? Is there any way you can add options for resizing? I'm even OK with you charging a bit more... I just want to get my magazine published.
