Please save the PDF to be compatible with Acrobat 5. Help?
I saved under the correct specifications, but I'm getting this error message:
We don't support PDFs with compressed object streams. Please save the PDF to be compatible with Acrobat 5.
Do I need to switch my version of Acrobat? Convert the file?
Thanks for the help in advance.

Inappropriate?Could you please provide us some details on what OS, software, version and PDF settings you're using? That will help us diagnose your problem.

Inappropriate?i'm running on: windows xp acrobat 9 pro i think it's the settings i need to change but since this is my first Magcloud issue, i'm not exactly sure what to send it to

Inappropriate?hi kristin - are you creating a magazine in InDesign? or using some other software? when you export your PDF, there's a bunch of settings to check, such as bleeds, PDF version, compression, etc. if you could list these, it would be very helpful. thanks!

Inappropriate?hello. i run an online publication. what i did was took screen shots with 300 DPI software, saved the images as JPGs, and uploaded them to acrobat 9 pro. some other helpful employee told me the specs were ok, then another told be i had to convert them to 1.3 pdfs. how would this be achieved? thanks for your help.

Inappropriate?I see, so you're using Acrobat 9 to create your PDFs directly? In that case, you can open the PDF that you created, select Advanced -> Preflight (or shift-CTRL-X on a PC) and from the "Acrobat/PDF version compatibility" group, select "Compatible with Acrobat 5", then click on Execute. Click the OK button on the next window, and Acrobat will modify your PDF to be compatible with MagCloud.
Give this a try and let us know if it works for you. -
Inappropriate?here is the window i'm getting for preflight. it doesn't seem to say "execute". so i pressed "analyze and fix":

when i did "analyze and fix" then uploaded the file, i got this window from magcloud:
http://i37.tinypic.com/11ryge0.jpg
is it a glitch? on the top it's telling me that it went through successfully, but on the side it tells me the file is invalid.
is there anything else i can do?
