Proof to UK, Widgets and Subscriptions?
A number of questions!
1 Sorry to sound dim, but if you don't ship outside of America, then how do I (based in the UK) get a proof copy sent to me?
2 Is there any plans to do a widget that would allow people to order straight from another site(like a blog or company web-site) without having to go to Magcloud?
3 The only drawback I can see is if I have a reader that likes the idea and goes and orders a copy, then when the next issue comes out, he has to remember to order again. Any plans to do something to prompt people to order another issue? i.e an alert that the magazine they "subscibe to" next issue is available to order? Or automatically oders it for them?

Inappropriate?1) Unfortunately we are not yet supporting international printing/shipping, which means we can't yet support non-US subscribers. But it is something we are considering for the future.
2) We are working on a publisher widget that will allow publishers to promote their magazines from other sites, which will direct prospective subscribers back to the issue profile on the MC site to complete the purchase.
3) Check out the 'subscribe' link on the issue profile page (e.g. http://magcloud.com/browse/Issue/2270). I think this is what you're after. -
Inappropriate?Oh oh, I thought you said that currently the subscribers had to be US based while the publisher could be anywhere in the world... This is bad news :( I just asked for an invite based on that presumption!
I’m really disappointed

This is a problem Sonya as far as I can see, they do support non US publishers but it seems you have to go for it blind without being able to see a proof, which is slightly concerning in that you are charging people money for a magazine you haven't actually been able to check is okay. -
I'm sorry for the confusion. You are very right, and I should have been more explicit in my original response. We currently do not support international shipping, which means non-US publishers can't easily get their hands on proofs (except to have someone in the US receive on their behalf and forward on). We realize this is an inconvenience (sorry!) and we are looking into how we might support international shipping, whilst we further evaluate non-US printing/shipping options.
