No Mac Support
Buyer Beware: NO Mac support for Magellan GPS. I've been trying for 3 years to get Mac support. Buy a Garmin instead — they fully support the Mac community. I have used and given as gifts multiple models of this manufacturers GPS units over the years, and continue to get excuses instead of solutions, when I ask for Mac support for even the simplest things, such as map updates.
Here's a sample, received this week:
"Our engineers are still working on the compatibility of our softwares with Mac. As you know, this would take time for us to develop softwares that would go with this operating system."
