although the contents of the ExpanDrive can be accessed from a Finder window.

I'm using Expandrive to connect to a Qnap Turbostation NAS with openssh-sftp-server installed.

While I can connect ok, the Finder reports that the available disk space is 8TB. While I wish that it were so, the NAS only has 750GB installed. Otherwise, a very cool piece of software.

When a Drive Name has a ":" in it, the ExpanDrive GUI cannot eject it. It must be ejected through the finder. The ":" is handy because it's normal in Unix, but it appears to be a "/" in Finder -- so I can make drive names that look like "hostname /path/somewhere", while still being able to use sane tab-completion in /Volumes/.

Workarounds:
1) Use Finder to eject the volume
2) Rename it to something that does not include a ':'

Can't upload any files Finder says names to long (there not unless "css.css" is to long...) Happens to 2 different servers at different hosts, everything lists properly however, and uploading works to both with Flow Already.

I use expandrive with a debian install on vmware, and it's great... unless I forget to close it in expandrive before closing/suspending the VM. It doesn't seem to notice, and then may hang finder, and definitely does bad things to Textmate!

I have come across a problem related to deleting directories. I'm connected via Expandrive to my home directory on a Solaris machine. When attempting to delete a directory by dragging the folder from the Expandrive window to the Trash, I get the usual server warning that the items will be deleted immediately.

On confirming this, the folder disappears. Only, a few moments later, to magically reappear - though without any files that were present when the folder was 'deleted'. I tried connecting to the server with a command line ssh window, and it appears from doing a bit of testing, that the .DS_Store file's presence or absence is what causes the folder to reappear or to stay deleted. Deleting it from the command line using rm and then deleting the problem folder works as expected, and the folder stays deleted when I drag it to the Trash. I'm using the latest build (1.27).

I just tried two simultaneous copies from the Finder to two different directories on a single ExpanDrive. This is something that people do all the time with physical disks, of course.

While the files are being copied, they're landing in the wrong directories. I started off copying files from directory A (local) to directory X (remote), then while that was running, from directory (B) local to directory (Y) remote. I'm seeing files from directory A end up in remote directory Y, which shouldn't be happening

After running the latest update (6/26/08), my Dreamhost based drive will no longer show up on the desktop and Open in Finder no longer reveals the drive. It is showing as connected and I have tried restarting ExpanDrive a few times with no change in status. Is there a possibility that this latest version is just bad?

I've had expandrive installed and working for a few weeks. I now have a problem: the drive manager shows that my server is connected but the server does not appear in the devices list and "open in finder" does not work. This *may* be connected to the 1.2.2 update I installed -- not sure tho.

MORE INFO:
When the drive is connected it does show up in the /Volumes folder as a volume -- when clicking the directory the drive contents are empty. I also checked that the server is working -- connects with no hesitation in Fetch. I have also restarted uninstalled and restarted. The mojo is still gone.

Finder is (still) asking me to enter the admin password when trying to upload a file. Even with version 1.2.1.
