Performance hit on browsing network mapped drives
It take up to 10 seconds before anything displays in the window. All you get is that ridiculous wagging flashlight.
Also, from app when browsing for files on non-SFTPdrive mounted drives it is very slow. When SFTPdrive is not running ... fast.
Notes: on a big company LAN with several network mapped drives and even with only one SFTPdrive connected.
Users frustrated.
The more people who ask this question, the more it gets noticed.

It's just the initial poll that is taking a while? After that we're okay? -
Inappropriate?Yes. Drilling down is okay. If you back out of that, once you get back to My Computer, it does it again. And if you browse for files to attach in Outlook, or any app for that matter, you take the hit.
One use has already de-installed SFTPdrive because she can't get work done. These are business users, so workarounds aren't.
Anyway to alleviate this? -
Inappropriate? It seems like our network provider [the component that integrates with explorer] is sometimes causing this stall. I'm looking into it right now. We're trying to package up a bunch of fixes for SftpDrive and get our a new release

Inappropriate? This bug is really annoying, I'm seeing it more and more over here. Trying to kill it right now

Any progress? Users VERY unhappy will long delays when navigating non-SFTPdrive-mapped drives, even "My Computer" -
Inappropriate?Rick - Sorry for our delay. I will get back to you in a day when I've taken another deep look at it. I spent a while on it and couldn't come up with a reason. I am inclined to guess it is a conflict with something in your environment, but am still looking through our code
