Hi guys, just wanted to officially to say thanks for all your efforts in trying to get our data back, it must be both frustrating and heart breaking for you guys more than anyone to have this happen (you all had so much more invested in this in terms of time and effort than anyone).
I also have to say that i am very impressed with the way you have taken responsibility and never once tried to blame anyone else or say that you guys weren't the only ones to rely on this type of back up, and i for one would like to acknowledge that we the users have some degree of blame for complaining every time the site was slow or down making it all the harder to try to change the way you did your backup as the site grew.

Inappropriate?I agree! I used my ma.gnolia RSS feed for my blog and was heart broken when I learned of the catastrophe. My heartbreak wasn't for my bookmarks, but a service that I was proud to use. If or when the site relaunches to the public, I will without a second thought sign-up.

Inappropriate?Here's another thanks for you! I miss ma.gnolia. Although my bookmarks were valuable, it's somehow liberating to let them go and admit they were ephemeral anyway. Thanks for all your great work and keep going!
