"Shadowbox" display for Videos and Images in Script Editor
It would be preferred to have images and videos display in either a pop-up window or some type of "shadowbox" when clicked from the script editor.
The problem with directly navigating to the Annotative Player in a separated window when images or movies are clicked in the script is that when in the new window, there is an option to click links to other portions of the project or even to open a redundant tab or window of the script editor.
I'm not sure how the software would handle multiple scripts (same version) open in different windows but it seems to invite the potential to create issues with content being lost or overwritten if I accidentally worked a bit on the script in one window and inadvertently switched to another tab to do more work....would be better to avoid this from happening by removing any possibility of opening up a redundant version of the script in another tab or window.
It would seem that by displaying images or movies in a pop-up or shadowbox, (perhaps even an Annotative Player that had no navigation up top) that any options for opening up new script windows would only be associated with the single intteration of the open script...
