Events, Better Calendar features and integration
Items that would be helpful for me with Events:
*Export/Import with Google Calendar
*Dates could have pop-up calendar selector so that I don't have to type (like travel sites do)
*send an email to participants in the event
*participants confirm invitation and "rsvp"

Inappropriate? This current code development cycle is all about the user interface with events to follow in the next couple of weeks. Your recommendation is in our software development plan. We don't know if we will be able to touch all of these but I wouldn't be surprised if most of them were improved upon by the end of the month.

Inappropriate?I love the pop-up calendars at travel and airline sites too. Would be a welcomed addition.
I believe I've seen open source code for the function in both AJAX and DHTML versions around the web. -
Inappropriate?I'm not sure what the end-game for calendar sync would be, but simply the ability to subscribe to Market 7 events and tasks in google calendar would be very helpful!

Inappropriate? Thanks Brent. The first 3 asterisk points of the original idea a year ago are now implemented.
We've also started recently to graph availability: http://bit.ly/4A0tMl. Right now that's just availability within Market7 projects, but we've got plans for how to extend that to people's personal calendars (if people choose to allow our service to check their personal calendars), and there's more we'll do including exploration of your suggestion of subscription and enhanced syncing. We've made some determinations of how to do this, and now need to avail attention for it in our development queue.
I’m glad to make continuing progress on realizing the good ideas coming at us
