You are referring to the activity feed portion of our service, which is something we set up very early in our development efforts and subsequently have not directed sufficient attention towards maintaining and enhancing. It is scheduled for an overhaul to begin in our development efforts next week with reconciliation in a code release we have scheduled for very early March.
We are aware that there is a particular bug in excessive, and advance reporting of invitation acceptance. Looking at the above-the-fold section of the team module should indicate whether or not an invitation is accepted yet, but it's wrong for us to allow conflicting and buggy reporting elsewhere. We will explore eradicating this bug even more quickly
