"Real" synchronization feature
Hi Markus,
I bought MindNode Pro and MindNode touch and I absolutely appreciate the wlan-synchronization feature, even though I find it should be capable of a little more.
Here is one feature which I extremely desire:
REAL SYNC
Import/Export is not what works for me. I would like to work on (virtually) single mindmaps, not keeping the outdated trash-maps, each time I copy from one device to another.
Since I usually don't need any backups of the changes, this only causes lots of dump.
Hope you have this in mind, already ;)
Last not least, it's a really great app!!

Inappropriate?I need to add a point to my earlier request ;)
Syncing causes the map to lose its style. In particular, all background- and text colors seem to be ignored, when transmitting the map to my iPod.
This is not so bad in the first place.
What's really bad: When I sync back to my mac, the style won't come back.
Is there any way to keep colors?? This is really bad for syncing!
But yeah, everything else is great!! -
Inappropriate?Dear Marius.
I know this is something a lot of people would like to see. The problem with syncing is that it's really really hard to get right. Especially because the iPhone doesn't support attributed text (merging it back in is not trivial) and I'd also need some kind of conflict management in case a node gets edited on both devices.
My short term goal is to retain more attributes when sharing with the iPhone (background color, fill style, stroke style) and than start looking into real sync. But I don't want to promise too much at the moment, sorry.
I’m sad
