Easy way to Resequence Work Samples in FM profile?
How can I move around the Work Samples in my FM profile? Right now, they're ordered in the way I input them. But I'd like to reorder them. How can I do that easily?

Hi Marybeth - Unfortunately, there is no easy way to reorder your samples. If they have dates on them, they'll automatically appear so that the newest is on the top and the oldest is on the bottom. Otherwise, the first one you upload will go to the bottom and the last one you upload will be on the top. This is something we're hoping to change for our members. All best, Jennifer

For headers, the order is the opposite. The first header I uploaded is on top and the last one is on the bottom. So now, to get the topics in the order I wish, do I have to rename all headers? This is a VERY important detail to put into your instructions so we can plan our page order ahead. I've never seen a website that was this clunky and still charged so much. -
Hi HM - Since there's no simple way to shift the header topics up or down, your best bet is to rename them. Let us know if you have trouble doing that. We like your suggestion that the directions should give more detail. -Jennifer

Inappropriate?Jennifer, thanks for your response. So if I dated my work samples in the order I want them to appear I might be able to get in the order I want? Also, my testimonials and editing accolades appear under work samples, not really appropriate...is there any way to break these out separately?
When do you expect changes? I'm eager for them asap! Mary Beth

Inappropriate?Yes, a good way to get them in the order you want is assign dates to them.
If you want to upload testimonials, accolades, etc., the only place to upload files is under Work Samples. Another idea is to mention them in other parts of your profile or include a link if they are posted on another site.
As for the changes, we're hesitant to put timelines on our projects because we have so many exciting things going on! Rest assured it's something we agree needs to be updated. -

Inappropriate?Hi again - Those headers cannot be moved, and only the articles underneath can be ordered using dates. As for entering dates, I see that you have dates on some of your articles but not others. When I access your account I'm having no trouble adding dates, so make sure you are using the right format (try both MM/DD/YYYY and M/D/YYYY, and be sure to use slashes!) and give it one more try. Let us know if it still doesn't work.

Inappropriate?yeah, I fixed date glitch, and some I left alone by design, but I still cannot move the headers around the way I'd like to. Sigh.
