Shout will not play .mov files. I uninstalled QuickTime and downloaded theQuickTime Alternative and still the file remains unrecognized. Before I uninstalled QuickTime the file played well on QuickTime but not in Shout.
I tried to view it in media player but still the file is unrecognized. Not too familiar with the codec stuff but did attempt to download the viewer and still can't view my file. Even downloaded my file again and it no longer has the QuickTime icon showing. I chalked this up to the fact that I uninstalled QuickTime and so the file is unrecognized but thought the Altermative viewer would fix this. Help! -
Inappropriate?Here is the recipe.
Download the latest version of K-lite codec pack (either Full or Mega). http://www.free-codecs.com/ Download version 1.81 of the QT Alt. http://filehippo.com/ Download Ccleaner http://www.ccleaner.com/ All are free.
Uninstall all versions of QT and QTalt.
Install Ccleaner then restart the PC
Run Ccleaner to clean the registry
Restart PC
Install K-lite using all default and recomended settings. In othet words agree and click next, (restart if prompted)and QT Alt 1.81
Restart PC and let me know if the cake is done.
