How do I cancel my account?
How do I cancel my account? I know how to uninstall from Firefox, but I want to know how to completely close my account. Since I have to join getsatisfaction to ask my question, I would also like to know how to cancel this account after my question is answered. -

Why "Crossover"?
Dammit, I want to be able to sign in by entering my user name and password and I do *not* want to be shunted off to "crossover" (which apparently means endlessly chasing my own tail around a loop) every time my cursor approaches the sign-in button. I am so sick and tired at this insanity that I am about to swear off me.dium for ever. -

'Connection Failed' in sidebar. Last reply on May 20, 2008 20:38.
I have a connection failed in my sidebar. What's going on? It asks 'Please try again.' But does not connect. Any answers? I'm browsing with Firefox 2.0.0.14 with a proxy connection. -

Me.dium Is a pain in the A#$ Last reply on June 19, 2008 20:52.
When i open my Me.dium sidebar where it should be showing where I am and everyone else is actually covered with a grayish almost transparent overlay on it and it says "Sharing with Me.dium Suspended! this is a private page and Me.dium want to make sure your personal information is protected."
So what is that all about and how do I get rid of it and start back with the normal use. I am shown as viewable to all.
I have uninstalled reinstalled upgraded installed uninstalled reinstalled and it works as soon as I install the Me.dium program but then once I get out of it and reboot and then start it again I get the same problems and have to uninstall and reinstall again to get it to work. When will this be fixed? -

More facebook interactivity. Last reply on June 18, 2008 17:32.
The facebook option is nice, but it is slightly clunky. I'm not sure how much interactivity you can get with facebook, but it would be incredible if you could see your online facebook friends and use medium to chat with them. Or your Skype or AIM friends for that matter.
Or perhaps an option to write on their wall instead of just sending messages. -

My current active page not being updated Last reply on May 19, 2008 19:22.
In the new version the indicator of what site I am on is not changing as I move from tab to tab in Flock, open up new tabs, close some, etc. It has me listed as "login - facebook" and I do have that page open on a tab but mainly I've been elsewhere, like here posting this note.

Can't open in new tab! Last reply on June 16, 2008 17:06.
I cannot "middle click" in the sidebar. This is a problem because it means the only way to open a new link via Me.dium is to left click, and it will open in my current tab.
I would like to either be able to middle click, or tell Me.dium to open all links in a new tab (or new window, as I have Firefox set to open new windows as new tabs)
Thank you! -

Why is there nobody on my map? Last reply on June 13, 2008 21:05.
Even when I browse to large sites like slashdot or myspace, there are no other users showing up on my map. Am I doing something wrong? The entire reason I installed me.dium was so I could find/chat with other users browsing the same sites as me. -

Mimicked Browser Last reply on June 06, 2008 15:06.
Would there be way to lock onto friend so that when they switch pages so does yours. I think it would be really cool to surf the web this way. I would think it would not be too difficult for it to constantly refresh to what page your friend is on.
I would be even better, but understandable much more difficult to do if at all possible, if your browser mimicked your friends browser 100 percent. This way you would see exactly what they see.
I hope you understand what I mean. -

Can't install on Firefox 3 in Ubuntu Last reply on May 31, 2008 15:20.
I can't seem to install the firefox 3 add-on in Ubuntu. Everything pretends that it installs correctly, and upon restart, it even tells that a new add-on was installed, but Me-dium does not show up in the list of add-ons. -

Desktop Short Cut Last reply on May 27, 2008 14:03.
A'ight, I need a Short Cut for the Desktop added on to the Program. U see, when u close the Sidebar, It's hard to figure out how to get it back up for the average user & it will delay deployment. Me.dium user OalieStyle. Either add it as part of the "updated" download, or make a Separate download toolbar for the Desktop. I'll probably figure out a way to design a way around this, put let's make this easy for the user. A'ight. Oalie out. U have my contact. -

problem with new tabs Last reply on May 19, 2008 17:01.
Me.dium seems to disable the function of the browser to place the cursor in the address bar when opening a new tab (ctrl+t, or clicking 'new tab') in all browsers. For a high volume web user this makes for a significant inconvienance, and I have removed Me.dium from all browser but one. -

SUSPEND THE WHOLE ME.DIUM PROGRAM UNTIL YOU GET IT TO WORK!!! Last reply on May 20, 2008 23:30.
Has anyone fixed the suspend problem with Me.dium yet? I just updated a day or two ago to see if it would fix it but I still have the problem. I am not going to keep uninstalling and reinstalling everytime I was to use it. So when you guys get this fixed please let me know and I will try Me.dium again. BTW when it worked it was an EXCELLENT program!!!
Thanks,
Rick -

Increased gearing Last reply on May 20, 2008 16:29.
For the purpose of enhancing productivity I'd like to see the exact frame the other me.dium buddy contemplates without him choosing "show only this frame" in the context menu. No idea, though, on the technical feasibility.
Moreover, tracking pages viewed across multiple open windows when switching between them could be improved.
Lastly, how about a proximity estimate based on IP addresses? This is an one-off piece of information, i.e. non-dynamic, and should be presented as such.
