very simple idea, at the moment if you close the sidebar, then medium closes, and stops running, it would be useful to have an option to run in the background so that your friends could still see what you are viewing, but the sidebar isnt taking up any precious screen room.
It might also be useful to have some sort of smaller notifcations in this mode, IM style maybe, or in the stausbar.
when I try to login using the firefox add-on I receive the message "Login Failed" I'm able to login to the me.dium website but not the application. I've tried to reinstall the product and clear my temporary Internet files, its just not working at this point. I'm running firefox 2.0.0.11
The application was functioning at one point, but no longer does.
How do I cancel my account? I know how to uninstall from Firefox, but I want to know how to completely close my account. Since I have to join getsatisfaction to ask my question, I would also like to know how to cancel this account after my question is answered.
Okay, I am very picky about my electronics as 90% of the USA is. I have windows vista with both internet explorer and firefox and I have problems using either. Lets start with firefox, the box that is used to send a message with conflicts with verisoft security software for fingerprinting and wants to change your username to the message being sent. With internet explorer I get this message here after about 5 minutes...
P.S.
1 add the ability to adjust the text box itself to your customer's liking.
2 make the scroll bar to scroll thru messages easyer to see.
3 make it so you can scroll thru your friends the same way you would be scrolling thru the blogs</source></symbol></source></symbol></source></symbol></source></symbol></source></symbol></source></symbol></source></symbol></source></symbol></source></symbol></source></symbol></source></symbol></source></symbol></source></symbol></source></symbol></source></symbol></source></symbol></source></symbol></source></symbol></source></symbol></source></symbol></source></symbol></source></symbol></source></symbol></source></symbol></source></symbol></source></symbol></source></symbol></source></symbol></source></symbol></source></symbol>
In the new version the indicator of what site I am on is not changing as I move from tab to tab in Flock, open up new tabs, close some, etc. It has me listed as "login - facebook" and I do have that page open on a tab but mainly I've been elsewhere, like here posting this note.
I have already been instructed to send an e-mail to your support staff with debugg info in it. this is just not working. I have the IE7 and the side bar is there but its just black with circles there is no activity on it. it's not working
When i open my Me.dium sidebar where it should be showing where I am and everyone else is actually covered with a grayish almost transparent overlay on it and it says "Sharing with Me.dium Suspended! this is a private page and Me.dium want to make sure your personal information is protected."
So what is that all about and how do I get rid of it and start back with the normal use. I am shown as viewable to all.
I have uninstalled reinstalled upgraded installed uninstalled reinstalled and it works as soon as I install the Me.dium program but then once I get out of it and reboot and then start it again I get the same problems and have to uninstall and reinstall again to get it to work. When will this be fixed?
I have a connection failed in my sidebar. What's going on? It asks 'Please try again.' But does not connect. Any answers? I'm browsing with Firefox 2.0.0.14 with a proxy connection.

i am on a 24" widescreen apple cinema display and it is so hard to read the text in medium. I have talked to others and they think the same thing. Need to increase the text size.
i recently change my personal info and would like the user that shows on the map to match the new info. is there any way of doing that? would i need to re-join with the new name?
Me.dium seems to disable the function of the browser to place the cursor in the address bar when opening a new tab (ctrl+t, or clicking 'new tab') in all browsers. For a high volume web user this makes for a significant inconvienance, and I have removed Me.dium from all browser but one.
